Before submitting a new entry, step through the following checklist to give your submission the best chances of being accepted!
Checklist
- [ ] Search AniList to make sure the work, character, actor, or staff member isn’t already in the database and hasn’t been addressed already on the forums or on our Discord.
- [ ] Ensure the work meets our Country of Origin requirements.
All works must be first professionally published by a reputable Japanese, Chinese, South Korean, or Taiwanese publisher to qualify.
- [ ] Make sure you have as much information as possible prepared for the submission. A high-quality, complete submission will always take precedence over a low-quality, partial submission.
- [ ] Be prepared to source your information. Multiple high-quality reputable sources are preferable – even if it's in a language you can't read.
If you have any questions about the submission process, feel free to message data mods on AniList, or to ask in the #submission-support channel of the AniList Discord.
